Overview
About Doodhpathri
Doodhpathri, the 'Valley of Milk', is a broad grazing meadow in the Khansahib area of Budgam district, about 42 kilometres from Srinagar. The name comes from the milky-white appearance of the stream that runs through it.
Sitting at nearly 2,730 metres, it is greener and less developed than Gulmarg or Pahalgam, with rolling pastures, pine slopes and grazing herds, and is best visited as a day trip.
